Q&A: The Temptations’ Otis Williams on Motown, ‘My Girl,’ and Beyoncé

Motown the Musical may have ended its Chicago run, but the city got another taste of the legendary music when The Temptations took the stage last week at Ravinia with The Beach Boys. The group has been going strong since 1960, and they’re showing no signs of stopping. Otis Williams, the last remaining (and surviving) original member of the group, told us what keeps The Temptations fresh, why he loves performing in Chicago, and how he really feels about “My Girl.”
